Mr. Kwasi Acheampong, spokesperson for the association, stated that the group’s humanitarian gesture was motivated by the need to assist the less-privileged in society in their hour of need.

“We are aware that most often than not, there are a number of people who had completed their treatment but their financial situations are such that they continue to stay at the hospital because they cannot pay their bills to allow for their discharge, hence, our intervention so that they could go home and be with their families”, he submitted.
